Five Responsible Protocols for Reopening Businesses
Every business affected by the coronavirus pandemic is anxious to welcome more customers and clients as soon as possible. However, it is important to do so in a way that complies with public health guidelines and state directives.
The Ohio Department of Health has identified five simple protocols for all businesses to follow as they reopen or increase their activity:
Require face coverings for employees and recommend them for clients and customers.
Conduct daily health assessments of employees.
Maintain good hygiene with regular hand washing, sanitizing, and social distancing.
Clean and sanitize workplaces during the workday and at the close of business.
Limit capacity to no more than 50% of the fire code, using appointment setting if possible.
Although these protocols may not look the same in practice for every business, we recommend that you start implementing them immediately so that you can serve your customers safely and responsibly.
